The International Psoriasis Council is pleased to bring you the following continuing medical education (CME) opportunities to advance your knowledge of treating patients with psoriasis.


Each of these activities have been planned in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME.

  • Advancing the Art and Science of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis : This educational initiative was prepared with content expertise provided by Program Chair Alan Menter, MD; Jerry Bagel, MD; Kenneth B. Gordon, MD; Kristine Kucera, DHS, MPAS, PA-C; and Melodie Young, MSN, RN, A/GNP-C.

    This educational initiative is provided by: Curatio CME Institute, University of Chicago, Dermatology Nurse's Association, and the SDPA.

    CME/CE Clinician Educator (pocket reference guide)
    The pocket guide is a practical reference guide for use in your clinical practice.
    • Side A discusses treatment recommendations based on disease severity, location of disease, and other patient characteristics and delineates key clinical considerations for the use of traditional and biologic systemic therapy
    • Side B addresses many patient questions and concerns about psoriatic disease and should be a useful resource in your consultations with patients

    CME/CE Biologic Bulletin
    This Biologic Bulletin has been designed to provide everyone involved in the care of psoriasis patients with an overview of treatment recommendations based on guidelines published by the American Academy of Dermatology.

  • IPC Psoriasis Review – 2011 Summer Issue : This issue of the IPC Psoriasis Review presents a review of the Clinical & Scientific Advances from the American Academy of Dermatology’s 69th Annual Meeting held in New Orleans, Louisanna and is available for CME credits.

    Format: Monograph Credit Designation: 1.0 credit(s) Expiration Date: September 21, 2012

    Program Overview The goal of this program is to provide important clinical and scientific data on the treatment of psoriasis.

    Target Audience
    This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of dermatologists and health care providers involved in the care of patients with psoriasis.

    Learning Objectives
    Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to: 1) Review and analyze the benefit to risk differences between approved psoriasis therapeutic agents and incorporate these into clinical practice 2) Discuss the relative mechanisms of action of approved therapies and those in clinical development 3) Apply knew knowledge and learning to practice techniques to more effectively and optimally manage the patient
