Romiti obtained his medical degree from the University of São Paulo's Faculty of Medicine in 1992. Three years later, he completed his residency in the university's dermatology department. He was a fellow at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich, Germany, and was a visiting doctor at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Fla., and the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wis., in the U.S.

Professor Romiti has authored or co-authored numerous papers published in national and international dermatology journals. Professor Jullien’s research and clinical interests focus primarily on inflammatory skin diseases (notably psoriasis) and the skin immune system. He was involved in the first human hand allograft project. Professor Jullien holds professional memberships with the French Society of Dermatology and college des Enseignants de Dermatologie, while also serving on the Scientific Board of the French Society of Dermatology, scientific Board and steering committee of the French Psoriasis prospective observational cohort PsoBioteq, scientific Board of the Psoriasis Group of the French Society of Dermatology.

Professor Jullien has also published a number of articles, and several chapters in textbooks, many of which focus on the pathogenesis and treatment of psoriasis, in a variety of international peer-reviewed journals, including The Lancet, Journal of Immunology, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Journal of Investigative Dermatology, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, among others.

Carle Paul is Prof. and Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France. The department is the Dermatology reference center for the 3 Mio population of the Midi-Pyrenees region. He completed his dermatology training in 1988-1994 at different university hospitals in Paris, including a one-year research scholarship in the immunology laboratory of JF Bach at Paris Descartes University and INSERM U25 working on mechanism of toxic epidermal necrolysis. Carle Paul holds a master in Fundamental Immunology and a PhD in Pharmacology. Professor Augustin, born 1962 in G̦ttingen, is professor for health economics and for dermatology at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. He is the Director of the Institute for Health Services Research in Dermatology and Nursing, Head of the Comprehensive Wound Center (CWC), Chair of the Center for Dermatological Research (CeDeF) and Chair of the German Center for Health Services Research in Dermatology (CVderm). Prof. Augustin is a founding member of the Hamburg Institute for Health Economics (HCHE), the largest Center for Health Economics in Germany.
In his institute Prof. Augustin integrates clinical research, health services research and basic research with clinical practice. Special topics of research by Prof. Augustin are skin cancer, chronic inflammatory diseases, allergies and chronic wounds. A particular field of research is the European Dermatology Health Survey and the program CLIMAderm climate change and skin diseases.
He is the editor, author or contributor of over 60 medical books and has authored about 350 scientific articles. Prof. Augustin is a senior consultant to the German Ministry of Health, to several Statutory health insurance companies and to a large number of companies in the health sector. He has been an expert to the German National Parliament (Bundestag), and he is the spokesman of the German Society for Dermatology to the German Federal Joint Committee (GBA) and to the Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Medicine (IQWiG).

Dr. Mrowietz is the Editor-in-Chief of the Archives of Dermatological Research, and a member of the Executive Board of the German Dermatological Association, as well as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Psoriasis Association. Prof. Mrowietz' main scientific and clinical interests are psoriasis and psoriasis therapy, wound healing and pathological scarring. Professor Prinz holds a lifetime Professorship for Dermatology and Venereology and is a senior physician at the Clinic and Policlinic for Dermatology and Allergology, Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich. He is also responsible for the serological analysis laboratory, immunopathogenesis of the skin laboratory, phototherapy unit and psoriasis centre at the department. Professor Prinz obtained his medical degree in 1983 from Leopold-Franzens University, Innsbruck, Austria. After a one-year internship, he worked for five years as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Immunology, Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich. Since 1990, he has been a physician at the university, where he established and continues to manage the Research Group for Immunopathology. Professor Prinz went on to attain his specialist qualifications in dermatology and venereology in 1995, and allergology in 1996.

Kristian Reich, MD, is Professor of Dermatology at the Georg-August-University Gottingen and partner at the Dermatologikum Hamburg, an international centre of excellence for dermatological patient care. He also holds the position of Medical Director at SCIderm GmbH, where he is actively involved in clinical trials, scientific research, and pharmacoeconomic projects in dermatology. In addition to his daily work as consultant in dermatology, venereology, and allergology he serves as academic lecturer in immunology, allergology, and genetic epidemiology. Professor Reich received his medical degree from the Technical University Munich and his additional clinical and scientific education from the UK, Harvard Medical School and Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in the USA. Prof. Dr Diamant Thaci graduated in 1989 with a medical degree from the University of Pristina, Pristina, Kosovo. He remained in Pristina until 1992, specializing in dermatology and venereology, before taking up a post in the Department of Dermatology and Venerology at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. He became a board certified dermatologist and venereologist in 1995 and, from 1997, Dr Thaci has held the roles of Senior Consulting Specialist in Dermatology, Director of Clinical Research, and Head of Photodermatology Division at the university. He became Associate Professor of Dermatology, Venerology and Allergology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, and in 2013 was appointed Professor and Head of the Comprehensive Center for Inflammation Medicine, University of Luebeck, Luebeck, Germany. Dr Thaci's research experience covers immunology and all stages of clinical drug development. Between 2002 and 2013 he was involved in more than 200 investigator?driven psoriasis trials, and was lead investigator on several national and international multicenter trials. In addition to his clinical commitments, Dr Thaci lectures on scoring systems in dermatology and is involved in the training of study personnel and publishing articles and book chapters in dermatology. Dr Thaci has been a recipient of the Theodor?Stern Foundation Award for excellent clinical research.
