Andrew Blauvelt, MD, MBA

Dr. Blauvelt is President and Owner of the Oregon Medical Research Center, a small business dedicated to performing high quality clinical studies in dermatology. He received his undergraduate degree at Purdue University and his medical degree at Michigan State University. Dr. Blauvelt then went on to train in dermatology at the University of Miami and in immunology research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He has held staff positions at the NIH and more recently as Prof. of Dermatology at Oregon Health & Science University and Chief of Dermatology at the Portland VA Medical Center. Dr. Blauvelt's clinical and research expertise is in psoriasis and infectious diseases. He has published over 200 papers and spoken across the country and world on these topics. Dr. Blauvelt has also served as Principal Investigator on numerous psoriasis clinical trials, is an elected member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation and is a past member of the Medical Advisory Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation.

Craig Leonardi, MD

Dr. Leonardi is clinical professor of dermatology at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., where he also has a private practice. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Florida, and completed an internship in pediatrics and residency in dermatology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Leonardi is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society. He is a past member of the medical board of the National Psoriasis Foundation. Dr. Leonardi has extensive experience using new biologics in the treatment of psoriasis. He has been a speaker at national, regional and state venues, and serves on the advisory boards of several pharmaceutical companies. He has been involved in more than 150 clinical trials and has published more than 150 original articles and abstracts.

Diamant Thaci, MD

Prof. Dr Diamant Thaci graduated in 1989 with a medical degree from the University of Pristina, Pristina, Kosovo. He remained in Pristina until 1992, specializing in dermatology and venereology, before taking up a post in the Department of Dermatology and Venerology at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. He became a board certified dermatologist and venereologist in 1995 and, from 1997, Dr Thaci has held the roles of Senior Consulting Specialist in Dermatology, Director of Clinical Research, and Head of Photodermatology Division at the university. He became Associate Professor of Dermatology, Venerology and Allergology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, and in 2013 was appointed Professor and Head of the Comprehensive Center for Inflammation Medicine, University of Luebeck, Luebeck, Germany. Dr Thaci's research experience covers immunology and all stages of clinical drug development. Between 2002 and 2013 he was involved in more than 200 investigator?driven psoriasis trials, and was lead investigator on several national and international multicenter trials. In addition to his clinical commitments, Dr Thaci lectures on scoring systems in dermatology and is involved in the training of study personnel and publishing articles and book chapters in dermatology. Dr Thaci has been a recipient of the Theodor?Stern Foundation Award for excellent clinical research. He is an active member of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) and the International Psoriasis Council.
