PsoProtect, a global registry for clinicians to report outcomes of COVID-19 in individuals with psoriasis, has updated their preliminary data and now includes the first 1,002 cases. Below is a summary of the data collected or view the full report on the PsoProtect website.

Average age: 50 years
Phenotype of psoriasis: 977 plaque psoriasis, 25 pustular psoriasis
Average BMI: 27.5 kg/m2
Average number of days of symptoms from COVID-19: 12 days

In addition to demographics, PsoProtect collects the following types of de-identified data:

  • Psoriasis disease characteristics, comorbidities and systemic treatment for psoriasis at onset of COVID-19
  • COVID-19 characteristics and disease course
  • COVID-19 outcome

We encourage clinicians to continue reporting cases of COVID-19 (suspected or confirmed) in psoriasis via the simple online PsoProtect case report form
