Satveer Mahil joins the group of respected IPC psoriasis experts

It is our pleasure to introduce our newest IPC Councilor, Satveer Mahil, PhD, MRCP. She joins the group of IPC experts who are working to advance knowledge and enhance the care of psoriasis patients. Councilors are selected based on overall reputation in the dermatology community, involvement in psoriasis research, and demonstrated interest in psoriasis care and treatment.  Learn more about becoming an IPC councilor.

Satveer Mahil, PhD, MRCP
St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust

Dr. Satveer Mahil is a Consultant Dermatologist at St John's Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, and adjunct Senior Lecturer at King's College London, UK.
She graduated from the University of Cambridge (Gonville and Caius College), UK and completed clinical dermatology training at St John’s Institute of Dermatology. She completed a Medical Research Council-funded Ph.D., which involved using genetic information to gain novel insights into the mechanistic basis of different forms of psoriasis and define new therapeutic targets. She has a major clinical and research interest in psoriasis. She is co-director of the PsoProtect and PsoProtectMe global registries. As director of St John’s DermAcademy, she also leads the development and delivery of dermatology educational resources for healthcare professionals.
