Claudia de la Cruz received her medical degree from Universidad de Chile, Sede Oriente, Hospital de Salvador, Hospital, U. Chile, Chile. She received her dermatology training at Universidad de Chile, Hospital Jose Joaquinaguirre . She maintains academic affiliations with Universidad Católica de Chile as an Assistant Professor in Dermatology. She is also very active in the Chilean Society of Dermatology and is the coordinator of the psoriasis group and is a member of the National Ministry of Health Committee for Psoriasis Disease. Dr. de la Cruz has also published several papers on psoriasis and has presented at both national and international congresses on psoriasis and related issues. She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Elise Kleyn, MBChB, FRCP (UK), MMedSci, PhD

Dr. Elise Kleyn is a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Consultant Dermatologist. She pursued her postgraduate training on the North West Regional Dermatology Training Scheme. She was awarded her PhD degree from The University of Manchester and her MMedSci degree from The University of Liverpool.

 

Dr. Kleyn is the Director of the Brain-Skin Unit, Centre for Dermatology Research and one of five Consultant dermatologists who lead the Greater Manchester Psoriasis Service. Dr. Kleyn’s research has been focused on the 'brain-skin' axis in health and disease, forming the basis of her PhD thesis, and for which she has received a number of national awards. In addition, she has a particular interest in psoriasis, brain imaging as well as the safety of biological therapies and their use in psoriasis. She has been an invited speaker at numerous national and international meetings and is a member of the International Psoriasis Council as well as the BADBIR Data Analysis Working Group. She is actively involved in medical education both in the clinical setting and as a PhD supervisor and runs the successful Manchester Psoriasis Preceptorship programme. She is the Equality and Diversity Lead, Division of Musculoskeletal and Dermatological Sciences and an Athena Swan champion. She is married to a General Practitioner and has two daughters.

Murlidhar Rajagopalan, MD

Dr. Rajagopalan is a senior consultant and Head of Dept. of Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, India. Additionally, he serves as senior consultant in pediatric dermatology at Apollo Children’s Hospital. He completed an MBBS from JIPMER Madras University in 1985 and an MD in Dermatology from PGIMER Chandigarh in 1989. Dr. Rajagopalan reviews articles for the Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology and several other national and international journals. He joined the IPC as a councilor in 2006 and currently serves on the IPC education committee.
