In 2016, she moved to south Florida, officially became a Certified Meeting Professional, and took the position of Senior Meeting Manager with IPC. She currently resides in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Michele Borsa, Administrative Coordinator International Psoriasis Council Largo, Florida, United States
After 15 years working in banking, Michele began work as an Administrative Assistant for a small, medical non-profit in Erie, Pennsylvania in 2011. Having achieved its mission of creating national and global awareness of a potential cancer treatment using radio waves, they closed their doors in 2014 and Michele made the transition to the International Psoriasis Council. Starting as the Administrative Assistant to the CEO, she was promoted to Administrative Coordinator in 2016. Currently residing in the state of Florida after a 21-year absence, Michele has been married for 31 years and has 2 grown children.

Tina Burke, Director of Corporate Relations International Psoriasis Council Portland, Oregon, United States
Tina is a senior executive leader with keen and intuitive insight for seeing the big picture and relationship connectivity. She has a proven ability to create and implement multi-dimensional operational and engagement strategies, build robust coalitions and respond effectively to all stakeholders, including industry leaders, government, media, special interest groups and the public. She has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in the public and private sectors, serving most recently as the Assistant Federal Security Director-Mission Support for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in Oregon. In this role she had responsibility for the business and administrative management functions of TSA for more than 700 employees at five federalized airports throughout the state of Oregon. Tina is a native Oregonian, and lived in Washington, D.C. for 16 years. While in D.C., Tina held a variety of positions on Capitol Hill, at the American Red Cross National Headquarters, a national trade association, a boutique advertising agency, and in the Office of Communications and Congressional Affairs at the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) within the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT).

Nicora Gardner, MSW, Sr. Manager, Education International Psoriasis Council Portland, Oregon, United States
Since 2007, Nicora has worked in a variety of positions within the psoriasis and health education arena. She spent four years at the National Psoriasis Foundation in a variety of roles including Research Coordinator, Health Education Manager and Associate Director of Outreach. From there she was with Legacy Health, a healthcare delivery system, as a Marketing and Health Education Specialist for five years. Prior to this, Nicora worked as a Clinical MSW, a Community Health Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Mongolia, and in various other positions with nonprofit organizations. She earned her MSW degree from University of Washington and currently resides in Portland, Oregon. Nicora joined IPC in November, 2015.

Christy Langan, International Psoriasis Council Santa Rosa, California, United States IPC Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Langan brings over 20 years of non-profit management experience in the areas of program development, event management, public relations, marketing and communications, and fundraising. She has served in senior leadership positions with two national non-profit organizations and served as Executive Director of Volunteer San Diego. Prior to joining IPC, she served in various capacities with the National Psoriasis Foundation including Sr. Director of Education and Outreach where she was responsible for developing and managing education programs for patients and medical professionals and as Director of Corporate Relations where she raised support for the organization and worked closely with industry to develop outreach programs. Ms. Langan brings to IPC a diverse set of skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for improving the lives of those living with psoriasis. She earned her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon.

Peter van de Kerkhof, MD, PhD, Chief Medical Officer International Psoriasis Council Amsterdam, Netherlands
Professor Peter van de Kerkhof served as head of the department Dermatology at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, The Netherlands, since 1992 and is currently a Professor Emeritus there. He graduated in medicine from the Catholic University of Nijmegen in 1978 and trained in Dermatology at the St. Radboud Hospital, Nijmegen. In 1983 and in 1990 he completed his theses in the faculty of medicine and faculty of sciences resp. Between 1980 and 1984 he completed his training as a dermatologist. Research interests of Professor van de Kerkhof are psoriasis, disorders of keratinization, inflammation and clinical pharmacology of the skin. He has been president of major European Dermatological societies such as European Society of Dermatological Research and European Dermatology Forum. He is member of the editorial board of several international dermatological journals. He is an author or coauthor of more than 600 peer reviewed dermatological journals. He joined the IPC Staff as Chief Medical Officer in July 2018.
