Daniela Armijo is a dermatologist in Santiago, Chile. She works in a private practice with a focus on psoriasis patients, and as an investigator in clinical trials. As a 2018 Fellow, she was mentored by Prof. Christopher Griffiths, OBE, MD, FRCP, at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and attended the 27th European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress in Paris. During her stay in Manchester, she attended the psoriasis clinic, the biologic therapies nurse’s clinic and the psoriasis arthritis clinic. She also spent time in the clinical trials unit, learning about the basic science research projects that were being carried out at the University of Manchester. Dr. Armijo has special interests in epidemiology and burden of psoriasis, so she was able to meet the BADBir team, and got the chance to get involved with the Global Psoriasis Atlas.
