Dr. Fernando Valenzuela is currently an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Chile in Santiago. He has received multiple awards from his medical school days and works closely with Dr. Kim Papp in Probity Medical Research doing clinical trials. He is highly regarded by his colleagues in Latin America and attends all SOLAPSO and RADLA meetings, where he is frequently featured as a main speaker. He has been working and publishing about new agents in psoriasis, quality of life, and comorbidities. He is the Chilean Coordinator of Global Psoriasis Atlas, the President of 2022 RADLA, and the Head of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Chile. He is active in the IPC Latin America working group and has been an IPC Councilor since 2015.
