Professor Nick J. Reynolds received his dermatology training in Bristol, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, and Newcastle upon Tyne. He was appointed to the Chair of Dermatology, Newcastle University and Honorary Consultant Dermatologist, Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne in 2001. Nick leads a dynamic interdisciplinary research group in Newcastle, and his clinical and research interests are focused on inflammatory skin disease (psoriasis and atopic eczema). He was previously Chair of the Research and Steering Committees, British Association of Dermatologists Biologics Registry (BADBIR), Chair of UK TREND (Translational Research Network in Dermatology), and President of the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR). In 2019, Dr. Reynolds was selected as an NIHR Senior Investigator and is currently the Secretary General and Vice President of the European Dermatology Forum (EDF).
